In future, private households will be able to use small wind turbines that fit in the back garden to produce their own hydrogen. This new form of hydrogen supply is being developed by researchers of the Fraunhofer Institute in cooperation with several other partners, as reported by energiezukunft.eu (in German only).

The U.S. Administration has approved the construction of an offshore wind farm comprising up to 84 turbines – which will make it the largest U.S. project of this kind. Zeit Online covers Vineyard Wind, the offshore wind farm that is to generate 800 megawatts worth of electricity (in German only).
